May 1st - Championship Day

12pm:
Bayyina and Adiyat meet up in the Tier-2 Finals, the regular season meetings say Adiyat win both by 73-50 and 66-53 final scores. Bayyina is coming off a buzzer beater win against Kawthar thanks to rookie Saifullah Khan and will hope to recreate some of that magic here in the Championship game. Adiyat comes in having escaped a buzzer beater win as Ma'un was not able to hit the winner in the final seconds allowing Adiyat to escape with a 51-50 win. Keys to this game will be Bayyina protecting the ball as their backcourt is prone to turning the ball over - if they can get the ball to Stefan Mioc in the post he will have the advantage and give his team a chance to win. Adiyat will look to shooter Nouraiz Akbar to spread the floor while Louis Moore controls the flow of the game.

1:30pm: A rematch of the finals last season between Ikhlas and Nas. Last season Nas defeated Ikhlas 66-59 in the finals for the championship and hope to go back-to-back for another title. Ikhlas led the way this season and easily defeated Nas in both regular season meetings by 58-43 and 57-49 scores. Led by their trio of stars in Chad Mondesir, Zamam Khan and Zakariya Tmj Khan they are a formidable opponent. Nas comes into this one the underdog but with an experienced roster they will compete and make this an exciting game to watch. Jamal SaugaCity Bundy Douglas referred to some of his teams wins as smaller teams swimming with sharks - something Ikhlas mocked advising to cancel Shark Week.
This Tier-1 final expects to be an intense affair with reports of some tense conversation between the captains of the two teams.
